Palringo

Palringo is a messenger application that allows you to stay in touch with friends and socialize with people from all corners of the globe. Add a friend as a contact and you’ll be able to IM with that friend, voice chat, send photos, and more. Join a group – there are many to choose from – and you’ll be able to socialize with people who share your interests. You can do all this with the free, user friendly, group messenger Palringo.

Palringo is available for desktop and mobile platforms: Windows, Mac, Android, iOS, and Windows Phone. Focusing on Windows alone, the application can be installed on anything from Windows 2000 to Windows 7. A simple setup wizard will help you quickly and easily install Palringo on a Windows-powered machine in the language of your choice (many are supported).

It must be mentioned that the setup wizard will ask you if you want to install the Growl notification system. It must also be mentioned that once you’re done installing Palringo and you launch it for the first time, a simple wizard will help you create a new account and set up the main settings.

Palringo features a tabbed interface – at the top there are tabs for your account, messages, contacts, and groups. From the Settings menu, the Display submenu, you can play around with a few options and change the interface’s feel.

Palringo’s list of features includes the following: set up a detailed profile, add and manage a list of contacts, create groups or join existing groups, send IMs, voice chat, avatars, capture and send photos.

You don’t have to part with your money if you don’t want to access Palringo’s premium features. Or to put it in other words, with a free Palringo account you don’t have access to several premium features: avatars, bridge message history, unlimited contacts and groups. If you decide to get a premium account, you’ll be glad to know that multiple payment methods are accepted.
